AXIS
What's new
Everything that has changed in AXIS, newest first.
Version 1.1.0
28 September 2026 LiveWind
- Wind now blows through the worlds after the Laboratory — 50 levels, from Glacier to Event Horizon.
- It starts gently and builds world by world, until Storm, where every level is windy.
- Crosswinds push the sphere sideways across the path. Hold a counter-lean to keep your line.
- In the later worlds, some winds come in gusts that rise and fall — wait for the lull, or commit and fight the swell.
- Leaves show which way the wind blows. They drift in a lull and rush as a gust builds.
- A soft wind sound swells with each gust and fades in as you approach windy ground.
- The Laboratory stays calm, so new players can learn the controls first.
iPad
- AXIS now runs full screen on iPad, made for its screen rather than scaled up from iPhone.
Also
- The guide arrow is easier to see against the dark, and stays with you until the exit is in view.
- Various fixes and improvements.
